The Pomperaug Chiropractic & Holistic Center is pleased to announce the arrival of our new doc!   Jason D. Culp, ND is a naturopathic physician who will start seeing patients in December 2011.  Dr. Culp followed a pre-med course and earned his bachelor’s degree in Natural Science and Mathematics from the University of Bridgeport.  He later attended Bastyr University—the “Harvard” of naturopathic medical schools—where he earned his doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine.  In addition to his clinical training at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, Dr. Culp completed a Naturopathic medical residency at the Seattle Healing Arts Center, an integrative medical clinic located in Seattle, WA.

Dr. Culp has expertise in the non-drug, natural healing approach to many ailments such as anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, insomnia, headaches/migraines, and digestion/intestinal complaints.  Other areas of clinical focus include food and seasonal allergies, cardiovascular health, and endocrine disorders including natural treatments for diabetic complications.  Treatment strategies commonly involve diet & lifestyle modification, vitamin & nutrient therapy, Botanical medicine, Homeopathy, and other evidence-based natural therapies.

At the Pomperaug Chiropractic & Holistic Center, Dr. Culp offers a foundation for wellness through an individual-centered, holistic approach to health and healing.  He believes that the most effective form of healthcare is one that incorporates all aspects of your life including the physical, mental, emotional, social, and the environment.  He looks forward to working together with you to help you reach your optimal wellness goals.

Discounts for patients who pay in full at time of service
Do you think that the natural health care you need will be too expensive?  Is your deductible or co-pay so high that it’s not worth using your insurance?  …or maybe you have no insurance coverage at all.

We have decided to offer the following options to help those in need of affordable, natural health care:

1. We now offer a 15% discount for those patients who pay us in full at the time of service.  We are only happy to pass on the savings we realize when we don’t have to process insurance claims and wait for your payment.
   
2. The fee for patients who undergo regular, monthly, chiropractic “wellness care” will be $55. (Electrical muscle stimulation and other adjunctive therapies are not considered Wellness care)

As a reminder, all expenses incurred for chiropractic and naturopathic health care, as well as nutritional supplements prescribed by a chiropractic or naturopathic physician, are reimbursable through Health Savings Accounts (HSA’s).
